My Puppy Chow poll turned out mixed results yesterday… thanks to everybody who weighed in! It was so fun to read where everybody is from and how that factored into whether you have heard of Puppy Chow or not. There were lots who’ve heard of Puppy Chow, lots who haven’t, and a few who want to compare recipes. I’d love to hear about some of your family favorite snacks (quick and easy of course… I’m no Martha!) that may not be well known or widely loved. As promised… here’s the Puppy Chow recipe that I use and a picture of the finished munchie as well:

1/4 cup butter
1 cup chocolate chips
3/4 cup peanut butter
8 cups Crispix or other rice cereal
2 cups powdered sugar

Melt butter, chocolate chips, and peanut butter in the microwave. Pour mixture over cereal and stir to coat evenly. Pour 2 cups of powdered sugar into a paper bag and add the chocolate covered cereal. Close the bag and toss until the cereal is coated with powdered sugar.

That’s all… that’s it! Super easy and let me be the first to tell you it’s super addicting as well. I’m off with my Puppy Chow to enjoy a day of stamping with great friends. I’ll post pics of that later… that is if I don’t forget my camera (I’ve been known to do that! LOL!). Have a great Saturday!
