Good morning, stampers! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend! It was freezing in Iowa this weekend so the girls and I dressed up in our matching Easter dresses and ran into the church as fast as our cold legs would take us! But once we were inside, it was a warm celebration of our resurrected King. He is Risen indeed! And now… Monday. *wink* I will say I’ve been looking forward to this particular Monday for a while as we’ve been planning to celebrate World Autism Awareness Day. We’re excited to be sponsoring a special blog hop featuring some of the industry’s most talented designers and are thrilled to share our love and support with individuals and families affected by Autism.
In honor of World Autism Month, I’ve designed a unique set of sentiments to create handmade cards of encouragement and to share joy with those affected by Autism. The stamp set is called Look with Your Heart and it’s pictured below:
Taylored Expressions is proud to be donating 25% of all proceeds from the sale of this stamp set during Autism Awareness Month to the Autism Society. Here’s a card that I made with one of the sentiments from the set:
As the puzzle piece is a recognized symbol for Autism, we’ve also released two new dies that feature the puzzle piece: a Puzzled Cutting Plate (that I used on my card above) and the Little Bits – Puzzle Piece.
Here’s a video to share a little bit more about these products and our participation in World Autism Awareness Day.
You can find all of these new products HERE. My hope is that you’ll use them to Share Joy with others in your immediate circle of friends and family who are affected by Autism or find ways that you can participate in World Autism Day by donating your handmade cards to a local school, Autism chapter or other charity that may benefit from a little handmade love.
Plus, don’t forget to check out the special Autism Awareness blog hop for more handmade projects. There are lots of generous crafty companies sponsoring the blog hop with prizes too!
