Shipping & Returns

Shipping within the U.S.

TE ships Monday through Friday (except on holidays observed by the U.S. Postal Service or other published dates of closure). Most orders ship within 1-2 business days. During peak times (e.g., new releases, site-wide sales), it may take longer for orders to ship. In an effort to get your order to you as quickly as possible, we use USPS for all domestic orders.* Packages shipped with USPS typically take 1-4 days for delivery to domestic addresses but may take longer due to poor weather or other factors affecting USPS.  

Due to increased order volume, please allow 3 to 5 additional days for order processing. Thank you for your patience!

*When a package contains heavy items, the package may be shipped using FedEx Ground. All domestic wholesale orders ship via FedEx Ground unless otherwise noted on your invoice.

We reserve the right to ship packages using the most economical shipping service. 

We offer free U.S. shipping to retail customers on orders over $50. If your order does not qualify for free shipping, you will be charged a shipping cost based upon the weight of the products you ordered (in accordance with USPS shipping rates).

Shipping to Canada

All packages shipped to Canada will be marked as "merchandise" on the required customs forms. Customer is responsible for any applicable duty or taxes that may be related to the delivery of their purchase. 

For packages weighing less than 4 pounds, we provide the following options:

1) USPS First-Class Package International Service is the most economical option. With USPS First-Class Package International, most packages are delivered within 14 business days, however they can take as long as 21 business days to be delivered depending on time spent in customs and your local postal service.  Please note that orders shipped via First-Class Package International are not guaranteed and do not qualify for a refund if they are lost in transit. Any package that weighs over 4 pounds will not qualify for First-Class Package International and will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail Express International Service (see below).

2) USPS Priority Mail Express International Service is a more expensive option, but has added benefits. Most packages shipped via Priority Mail Express International arrive within 6 business days. While the rates may be higher, packages shipped with Priority Mail Express International include a tracking code and shipping confirmation. Unlike USPS First Class International, orders placed using Express Mail qualify for a refund if a package is lost in transit.

3) UPS Standard Service is an ideal choice when speed needs to be balanced with economy. Ground packages are typically delivered within 7 business days, depending on destination, and include a tracking code and shipping confirmation.

Flat Rate Shipping may be a more economical shipping option for retail customers in Canada. Effective April 1, 2020, customers may choose an alternative flat rate shipping* option based on their order total:

- For orders totaling $100 or less, flat rate is $19.00
- For orders totaling $100.01-$250.00, flat rate is $29.00
- For orders totaling $250.01 or more, flat rate is $49.00

*We reserve the right to ship flat rate packages using the most economical shipping service (either USPS or UPS). 

Shipping to all other international destinations

Adding to Orders

We understand there are times when customers want to add to an order that has recently been placed. Due to the speed at which our shipping team operates (they are blazing fast!) as well as the technical restrictions of our e-commerce software and payment processors, we are unable to edit orders once they have been submitted. We encourage domestic retail customers who want to purchase additional items to place a second order and strive to reach our free US shipping threshold of $50, one of the lowest in the industry.

Order Tracking

The best way to track your order's delivery is through the tracking number provided with your shipping notification. For additional information on a particular order, please have your order number handy when you contact us. 

Order Delivery

In order to ensure prompt delivery, please be sure your ship-to address is correct when you submit your order. All orders will be sent to the address you provide. (If you are using a payment gateway like PayPal that automatically fills in your address, please double check to make sure the address entered is correct.)

If your order is returned to us due to an undeliverable address, we will refund you the price you paid for the items once we receive the package, minus any shipping costs we paid on your behalf if your order qualified for free shipping. If you would still like to have the items you ordered, you will need to place a new order with the correct shipping address.

It is also important for you to ensure your order is being shipped to a secure location. TE is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged packages or contents. If you think your package is missing or has been stolen, you can open an investigation or file a claim by calling your local post office or visiting the carrier's website.

Return Policy

If you’re looking to return or exchange your order for whatever reason, we're here to help! We offer free returns or exchanges for US customers within 30 days of purchase. You can return your product for store credit, a different product or a refund to the original payment method. Customers outside the US may return items within 45 days of purchase at their own expense and can choose store credit or a refund to the original payment method. Refunds for all customers will be reduced by any discounts or promotions that would not have been applied without the returned items on the order including but not limited to free shipping or the exclusive gift with purchases of a certain amount (e.g. $100+). 

Please note the following exceptions to our policy:

  • Discounted items purchased from a Retirement or Inventory Reduction Sale (all sales are final)
  • Items that have been retired from our catalog
  • Gift certificates
  • Personalized items (including custom stamps)
  • Bundled items purchased at a discounted rate (unless the entire bundle is returned)

Products must be unused and in good condition in their original packaging in order to receive proper credit. Items returned within 30 days of purchase are eligible for a full refund minus any discounts noted above. Items returned beyond 30 days of purchase may receive store credit minus any discounts noted above. Returns will not be accepted after 60 days from date of purchase.

Items that are returned and do not meet the criteria for returns/exchanges will be held by Taylored Expressions unless the customer wishes to pay to have them shipped back to their residence.

Damaged or Defective Products

If you receive a product that is damaged or defective, please contact us as soon as possible to request a refund or exchange. In order to process your request, we may require you to provide a photo of the damaged/defective product.
